The Motorcycle Grand Tour of Virginia is managed by the Governor’s Motorcycle Council of Virginia.

The council is charged with promoting motorcycle-related tourism, economic development, and motorcycle safety in the Commonwealth. The council meets quarterly in Richmond. Meetings are open to the public.
